Narrative description of the supervised Project:
SARIO is government agency under Slovak Ministry of Economy, responsible for attracting foreign investment to Slovakia and supporting Slovak exporters in their ventures abroad. While responsible for several key foreign investments in automotive and electronics sector, it has suffered from political turbulence, frequent changes in management, and lack of organizational focus. A new CEO was to be appointed – Robert Simoncic, former CEO of Microsoft Slovakia and president of AmCham Slovakia – and to understand fully the situation as well as possibilities for strengthening and empowering the institution, he hired Aspiro-Neulogy consortium to help him devise mid-term institutional strategy for the following 4 years.

A solid and complex institutional strategy was required quickly in order to define key challenges, opportunities, and to provide a clear roadmap for change. In the scope of the project we provided:
- Detailed analysis of current situation in both external environment and internal situation of the organization
- Key strategy scenarios which were fleshed out throughout brainstorming sessions organized jointly with business leaders in Slovakia and abroad.
- Based on the defined goals and objectives, a number of strategic initiatives were developed into specific projects to be implemented in order for the goals to be achieved within the given time.
- Expert support to ensure the strategy gained
“Aspiro worked for our agency within the period of one month on analysing FDI strategies, providing comparison of IPA´s and defining the scope of services agency should concentrate and provide from long term and short term perspective. We were highly satisfied with the performance of Aspiro, producing the anticipated results expected within the deliverables accompanied by an efficient communication flow throughout the cooperation.”
