Aspiro in cooperation with the Slovak city Hlohovec has created, developed and implemented the City Dashboard, an information and communication channel with the citizens.
Project Context:
The representatives of Hlohovec Municipality have decided to launch a project to gradually build a solution for a more effective management of Hlohovec city and communication with the citizens.
Project Description:
The solution “Hlohovec City Dashboard” is intended as a central reporting and information platform both for the citizens and the municipality management, while providing a communication and direct feedback channel based on crowd-sourcing and surveys published by the city. Within scope of the project “Hlohovec City Dashboard, an information and communication channel with the citizens” were following activities:
- Analysis of the current state – definition of municipality priorities and needs, expectations and limitations for development of the city dashboard;
- Definition of data requirements and data sources, development of solution architecture;
- Data collecting per respective departments within the municipality and related 3rd parties;
- Design work and development of „Hlohovec City Dashboard“ consisting of web portal and mobile application with crowd-sourcing function.
Aspiro role:
The experts from Aspiro team delivered following project deliverables and activities:
- Definition of communication priorities and needs with the municipality representatives, definition of expectations and limitations for development of the city dashboard;
- Analysis of the current state of data collecting and storing;
- Definition of data requirements, preparation of templates for data collecting;
- Definition of solution architecture;
- Support of data collecting activities within the municipality;
- Development and building of City Dashboard consisting of web portal and mobile application, solution design fine-tuning.
