Vojenská zdravotní pojištovna - Strategic goal-setting framework
(30.6.2011) In a tender, VoZP has chosen Aspiro to develop the strategy of VoZP, together with a annual plan and activities for the period of 2011/2012:
- The legislative framework of VoZP has radically changed throughout the past years, especially from the viewpoint of new conditions and risks
- The management of VoZP has decided to invite external consultants in order to update the strategy and describe main strategic goals of the organization
- VoZP also perceived the need to change and improve the approach to the annual plan and clearly define strategic and mandatory activities with a distinct assignment of responsibilities and capacities for realization
- The goal of the project was:
- to define strategic organizational goals
- to design the definition of the annual plan and strategic and mandatory activities
- to design a process of continuous control of realization of the activities defined by the annual plan
In the first part of the project, Aspiro has prepared and carried out a SWOT analysis, results of which were analyzed from several strategic perspectives and decomposed into strategic goals. In the following stage, the project team has identified and described all activities and tasks needed to achieve the defined strategic goals. In addition, the team has also mapped mandatory activities of major company units (together with responsible persons, work effort estimates and their interrelationships). In the last part of the project the project team developed reports and controlling processes to ensure sustainability and continuous tracking of defined strategic and mandatory activities and tasks. The project was carried out in the defined plan and budget. Duration of the project: 8 + 4 weeks.
